Military Family Support
Since 2015, KFF has funded family stays at the DoD comfort home at Camp Pendleton, CA — providing over 3,900 nights of lodging so families can be present when their military loved one needs them most.
Lyme Disease Family Support
A program uniquely dedicated to families of children and young adults battling Lyme Disease. Our grants offset non-insurance reimbursed treatment costs for families facing financial hardship.
Learning Disabilities Program
An extraordinary program helping young adults diagnosed with learning disabilities and neurological or perceptual impairments achieve their full potential and lead independent, fulfilling lives.
About Us
A Family Foundation Born From Frustration — and Hope
The Kesselhaut family created this foundation after becoming disillusioned with how many public charities spend donor dollars. Too much goes to administration, promotion, and overhead — not to the people who need help.
KFF was built differently. Our founders personally pay all operating expenses. Every Director and Officer volunteers their time without compensation. The result: virtually 100% of every dollar you donate goes directly to the families we serve.
We are a registered IRS 501(c)(3) private foundation, EIN 20-5615950, based in Calabasas, California.
